Capital Market Youth Forum 2025 Empowers Rwanda’s Next Generation of Investors

Kigali, April 2025 – The Capital Market Authority (CMA) of Rwanda has launched the Capital Market Youth Forum 2025, a dynamic event aimed at engaging young Rwandans in investment and financial literacy.

The forum brings together students, young professionals, and financial experts in a series of workshops, interactive panels, and discussions. Its main goal is to inspire the youth to explore opportunities in capital markets and understand the role they play in Rwanda’s economic development.

Speaking at the forum’s opening session, CMA officials emphasized the importance of building an investment culture early. “Empowering youth with financial knowledge is key to creating a more inclusive and resilient economy,” one speaker noted.

Participants are learning how the stock market operates, how to start investing, and how capital markets contribute to national growth. The event also provides networking opportunities with experienced investors and capital market players.

The Capital Market Youth Forum is part of CMA’s broader mission to expand access to financial tools and increase youth participation in Rwanda’s economic future.
